We are committed to ensuring that all discussion, meeting, or events organized during this ThatCamp, are free from harassment including but not limited to restrictions on free expression, discrimination against any person on the basis of race, color, sex, religion, national origin, age, sexual orientation, disability, gender identity or expression, marital status, genetic predisposition or carrier status, military status, and beyond. We do not tolerate harassment or disrespectful treatment of group participants in any form. We welcome and encourage intellectual discussion, debate, civil and active engagement.
We value individual positionality in articulating statements and beliefs more than being “all on the same page.” Rather than striving to agree, we require articulation, explanation, asking questions, working respectfully across differences, showing compassion and understanding.
